California worker dies in construction accident

In the workplace, there are many dangers that employees have to look out for, such as falling debris or a trench collapse. However, even when workers do everything they can to avoid an accident, they may be killed or injured in a workplace accident because of employer negligence or the reckless behavior of someone else. Whenever someone is involved in a work accident in San Bernardino, California, it is paramount for them to immediately analyze the details of the incident and act accordingly.

A fatal construction accident that recently happened in California is being investigated, according to a spokesperson for the Division of Occupational Safety and Health. Authorities are looking into the incident and have halted work at the scene of the deadly accident. Officials were informed of the construction accident, which took place in South San Jose, at 11:19 in the morning.

The accident claimed the life of a construction worker and authorities did not release the man's identity right away because they had not yet notified his family members. Law enforcement officials say that the 20-something man passed away after he was struck by the bucket of an excavator.

Sometimes, workplace accidents can't be prevented. Having said that, many could have been avoided if employers would have addressed safety concerns or hazards were addressed properly. When someone dies because of another person's negligence, coping with the accident can be especially tough for the loved ones they leave behind, but those responsible should not be able to get away with their actions. For some people, talking to an attorney about a work accident may be beneficial.
