Post-traumatic stress and work accidents

Workers who sustain an injury on-the-job may struggle with various challenges afterward, from physical pain to financial problems (lost wages, hospital bills, and so on). However, our law firm recognizes that it is not always possible to know the full extent of the problems an injured worker will face shortly after the accident has occurred. For example, some people may sustain a head injury and not know that they suffered a traumatic brain injury, which could haunt them later on. Or, some people might develop post-traumatic stress disorder as a result of the accident.

Workplace hazards and brain injuries

There are a wide variety of hazards in different occupations, some of which often go under the radar. For example, people may think that a white-collar job does not present many physical risks. However, someone could slip on a wet floor and hit their head, sustaining a traumatic brain injury. We know that workers across San Bernardino may also sustain brain injuries in many other ways while working and it is vital for those with a brain injury to explore their options.

Addressing a nursing home injury

If you are living in a nursing home or recently helped your loved one move into an assisted living facility, you could be struggling with different challenges. For example, you might be going through strong emotions such as depression or feel stressed out because of the changes. Moreover, those living in nursing homes may face a number of hardships. Unfortunately, our law firm understands that some residents become injured due to negligence in these facilities and we believe it is paramount for victims to pursue the justice they deserve.
